Our Process
1. Our first meeting:
We begin with a complimentary in-home consultation session where we explore design ideas, discuss feasibility, define scope, establish project budget, and delve into creative design concepts. Then we assess project viability, outline project parameters, set budget expectations, and provide an overview of the design/build process.
2. Integrated design and planning work:
Upon receiving a deposit for the design and planning process, we will continue finalizing the scope of work and developing design layouts. Our collaborative design process includes plans, elevations and 3D modeling. Next, we will obtain preliminary cost estimates, specifications, and product selections, and confirm financing. Once a final design is approved, our interior designer will assist you in selecting materials (the fun part!), which may include visiting our vendor showrooms. By following these steps, we ensure a smooth and efficient process for our clients.
3.The construction contract:
Once we have signed a construction contract, we will reserve your project start date and put together a detailed schedule. We will go over progress payments, substantial completion payment terms and the final payment details. With the deposit, we can now purchase all the products you’ve worked so hard to select. You will be assigned a lead carpenter who will be your contact and oversee every aspect of the remodel on your behalf.
4. Construction and completion:
Renovation begins! The time has come to enjoy the progress of seeing your home transform in the weeks or months ahead. Our goal is to make this process as smooth as possible and give you the highest quality, ensuring all the details discussed are completed to your satisfaction.
Completion time. Congratulations, your renovation is now complete! We’ll walk through with you to ensure that every detail is of the highest quality, and you have received every item on the project plan to your satisfaction. Your 1-year warranty on labor and materials begins now, so you can enjoy your newly remodeled home with peace of mind.
“Hiring a contractor is like taking a huge leap of faith, and we sure are glad we took that leap with you! We feel so lucky to not only have ‘survived’ a remodel but we even have fond memories of it! You were so easy to work with, and we felt comfortable with all the people you had working here.”
